Refunds and Returns Policy

At Taj Optics, we are committed to ensuring your satisfaction with our prescription and non-prescription eyeglasses and contact lenses. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, we offer a flexible and fair returns and refund policy.


  1. Eligibility for Returns

You may return products purchased from tajoptics.com under the following conditions:

Prescription Glasses: Returns are accepted within 14 days from the delivery date if the product is defective, incorrect, or not as per your prescription.

Non-Prescription Glasses and Contact Lenses: Returns are accepted within 30 days from the delivery date, provided the item is unused, in its original condition, and in the original packaging.

Customized Orders: Items customized to your specifications (e.g., prescription lenses) are not eligible for returns or refunds, unless there is a defect or error on our part.

Sale or Discounted Items: Products purchased on sale or with a discount are not eligible for return unless defective.


  1. Conditions for Returns

To be eligible for a return, the product must meet the following conditions:

The product must be unused and in the same condition in which you received it.

It must be returned in its original packaging with all accessories, manuals, and any promotional items included at the time of purchase.

A proof of purchase (receipt or order confirmation) must be provided with the return.


  1. How to Initiate a Return

To initiate a return, please follow these steps:

  1. Contact Us: Email us at tajoptics1984@gmail.com within the eligible return period (14 days for prescription products, 30 days for non-prescription items). Include your order number, reason for return, and any photos if the item is defective.
  2. Return Approval: Once we receive your request, we will review it and provide you with a Return Authorization Number (RAN) and instructions on how to send the product back.
  3. Shipping the Product: Package the item securely, include the RAN, and ship it to the following address:

You are responsible for covering the cost of return shipping unless the product is defective or incorrect.


  1. Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we will notify you via email of the approval or rejection of your refund.

Refund Approval: If your return is approved, a refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment within 7-10 business days.

Partial Refunds: In some situations, only partial refunds may be granted, such as:

Any item not in its original condition, damaged, or missing parts not due to our error.

Items returned after the 14-day or 30-day return window.

Non-Refundable Items: Customized products or items that are not eligible for returns as outlined above will not be refunded unless there is a defect.

We do not offer direct exchanges. If you would like a different product, please return the original item following the steps above and place a new order on tajoptics.com.

Customer-Initiated Returns: For returns that are not due to an error on our part (e.g., if you changed your mind), the customer is responsible for covering return shipping costs.

Defective or Incorrect Products: If you received a defective or incorrect product, we will cover the cost of return shipping.

Shipping Charges: Original shipping charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error or a defective product.

If you receive a product that is damaged or defective, please contact us within 7 days of receiving your order with the following information:

Photos of the damaged or defective item

We will either replace the product or issue a full refund, including shipping charges, once we have verified the issue.
